Thanks to four amazing Conservancy members, we were able to help a handful of frogs safely cross Route 144 during their annual migration!
Earlier this week, these members met at the entrance to the Hannacroix Creek Preserve in the early evening to help facilitate the safe crossing of several frogs (sadly, no salamanders needed our help this year). This year, our volunteers helped several spring peepers, tree frogs, and wood frogs make it safely to their new homes in the vernal ponds along the Hudson River Interpretive Trail!
