Join Us for the “Planning For Our Future” Program

Please block out your calendar for an exciting and informative Conservancy program at Rail to River Brewing on October 12th at 6:30 pm (doors open at 6pm). We have two terrific speakers from The Hudson River Valley Greenway and Scenic Hudson to discuss “Planning for Our Future”, and what it means for us in Greene and Albany counties. Join us to learn about Scenic Hudson’s Hudson River Access Plans, NYS’s Hudson River Eagles program, Greenway and National Heritage Area funding, the impact of the proposed 2022 Bond Act, and more.

This event is free and open to the public.

Beer and other beverages will be available. There is ample off-street and on-street parking.

Who (Speakers):
Beth Campochiaro is the Trails and Community Outreach Director for the Hudson River Valley Greenway and Maurice D. Hinchey Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area.

Cari Watkins-Bates is the Director of Land Conservation at Scenic Hudson.

Currently serving as a Cyber Risk Specialist with NYMIR and Co-Director of the Local Government Cybersecurity Alliance, Elisabeth specializes in helping local governments navigate the complexities of AI, cyber risk management, and incident response. Her research focuses on the intersection of technology, risk management, and social equity—specifically investigating how cyber threats and crisis communications affect vulnerable populations. With a Ph.D. in Information Science (specializing in crisis communication and information assurance), an MBA, and a B.S. in Digital Forensics from the University at Albany, Elisabeth combines technical expertise with a passion for public policy and international education.
