People are our most important asset. In support of this asset and our purpose, the Conservancy has created a college scholarship to recognize past or planned public service demonstrated by a student resident of the town of New Baltimore.
Each year one $600 scholarship is granted to a high school senior or a full time student enrolled in an accredited college or university, based on one or more of the following criteria:
- Community Service
- Major or minor in environmental sciences, history or architecture
- Academic achievement
- Volunteer activity with the Conservancy
The scholarship application must be mailed by May 1st each year to The New Baltimore Conservancy, PO Box 322, New Baltimore, New York 12124.
The proceeds from one of our popular yearly events, A Taste of History, are set aside to support the scholarship.
