Due to the pandemic, our major fundraiser for the year, A Taste of History, has been canceled, and will not return until June 2021. In fact, we currently have no other fundraising opportunities confirmed for this calendar year. The Board worked hard on developing and submitting a grant application to a state agency earlier this month, only to learn that the grant has been pulled to the state’s budget crisis. Our work and expenditures continue.
We need your immediate support. If you appreciate the work we do to maintain our parks, or if you have enjoyed our events and programs, please contribute! For those of you who have already contributed to an annual membership or a donation, your contribution is deeply appreciated. Please consider increasing your contribution. All donations are tax-deductible.
Currently, 90 cents of every dollar goes right back into our maintaining the properties. The other 10 cents are for administrative costs (insurance, website support, etc). If more people contribute, the 90% will increase, as administrative costs will remain the same for this year.
