AAA May/ June 2021 Magazine Travel Guide on voted LVP one of the best picnic spots in the Capital Region and Hudson Valley area.
Long View Park in New Baltimore stands upon retired farmland, which is evidence from the old red barn you’ll see upon arrival. Today, this 76-acre property has a grassland pasture, pine glade, quarry area and the remains of an old ice house on the Hudson River. There’s plenty of nature to behold on the paths leading down to the river. In fact, you may even spot a bald eagle. Don’t forget your picnic blanket if you plan to visit, as this park does not have any tables.

We are pleased to announce that the RCS Community Library, New Baltimore Conservancy, and Scenic Hudson have partnered to bring families an opportunity to enjoy reading, hiking, and the historic Armstrong Farm! Bring the family to Long View Park an unforgettable experience for those of all ages.
