Conservancy member Sarah Brunstad will be installing beehives at the Hannacroix Creek Preserve this spring! Having learned beekeeping with a community garden in NYC, Sarah is happy to pass on her (fledgling!) skills to other members and grow together. Members of all ages are welcome to join for the whole season or simply reach out to ask questions and visit the bees. Anyone interested in being involved for the season should reach out to sbrunstad13@gmail.com ASAP to schedule an introduction. If there’s widespread interest, we will organize a group orientation session in March, before the bees arrive in April. Email Sarah to learn more!
