The Conservancy gives a BIG THANK YOU to our Town Highway Department for the work they did coordinating and addressing the significant tree damage at Cornell Park this week while minimizing the impact to the lawn. Great job!
While the damaged trees are gone, and the sun may actually make an appearance this evening, we are postponing the Conservancy’s Wine & Cheese until Saturday, August 5th.
There is standing water in the park. Where there is no standing water, your feet make a squishing sound as you walk on the grass. The park is not ready for hundreds of feet walking on it for hours. It needs time to recover.
The new date is Saturday, August 5th at 6:30pm. Mark your calendars!
